I was a participant in the WILD class of 2004. This was one of the most important and influential leadership development experiences I've had in my life. I developed a strong foundation for community organizing and connecting issues and actions around marginalized communiites. I met lifelong friends and began moving through the world with a stronger sense of self and empowerment. I was given resources that continually direct, feed, and support my efforts to make this a bettter world for all. I am so appreciative for the resources, mentors, and experiences that have presented themselves because of my participation with Western States Center. Congratulations on your sustainability and your continued efforts to empower people.
