When I met Aimee, I had just become the new Executive Director of a non-profit receiving mentoring from the Western States Center. My organization had been without an Executive Director for 90 days when I arrived and there were many times when I called Aimee at a total loss or in tears. What I admire most about Aimee and Western States Center is that all the loving support comes with high expectations and the understanding that after being received exactly as we are we will be asked to step up to our fullest and most capable selves to get the work done in our communities.
